About David Hayes, The Pro-shop & Dungarvan Golf Club


The Professional shop is run by Head Professional David Hayes. David started in Dungarvan as Head Professional in February 1996.  The Pro-shop is an integral part and the frontline of Dungarvan Golf Club.

Dungarvan Golf Club, County Waterford is set against the backdrop of the comeragh mountains and lies adjacent to the Dungarvan Bay. One of the oldest sporting clubs in Dungarvan (established and affiliated to the G.U.I. in 1924). The championship standard course was professionally designed and enjoys blue flag status in the Bord Fáilte "Golfers Guide to Ireland". This par 72 championship course which measures 6,785 yards for gents and 5,505 for ladies (par 74) has been architecturally designed with seven lakes and man made hazards strategically placed to test all levels of golfer.

The Pro-shop offers many services to members and visitors. From an extensive range of golf equipment to buggy, trolley and club hire, our trained staff will endeavour to make your game more enjoyable.
